Our History

In 2016, there was a record high in violence in Annapolis, Maryland. At 16 years old, Brandon Harris began to realize that many of his local peers were becoming more frequently involved in this violence. Recognizing this, Brandon brought together leaders from all areas of Annapolis to create a reliable mentoring program to support young people who were struggling.

Since that moment, Brandon and the committed mentors have worked together to meet weekly to work with youth in difficult situations. Brandon’s Coalition for Success has experienced tremendous success, as the youth involved have experienced great improvement in their lives.

Brandon's Coalition for Success has been recognized by local courts as a viable option for juvenile offenders, and it has been nationally recognized for its past success.
